Evansville Slew to Diamond G in Oklahoma

Evansville Slew, who has $1.1 million in progeny earnings this year, has been acquired by a partnership to stand at R.G. Gammill's Diamond G Ranch near Edmond, Okla.

A four-time stakes winner as a 2-year-old, Evansville Slew has sired 18 stakes winners and the earners of $9.6 million. His added-money winners include grade II winner March Magic, 2006 added-money winners Smalltown Slew and Trickyville Dew, and six-time stakes winner Cherylville Slew.

Evansville Slew, a 14-year-old son of Slew City Slew out of the Fappiano mare Shape Shifter, scored his big win in the Arlington-Washington Futurity (gr. II). He previously stood at Doug Arnold's Buck Pond Farm near Versailles, Ky.

His 2007 fee will be announced at a later date.
