Ruler's Court, a California grade II winner and a joint high-weight on the Experimental Free Handicap, will stand his first season at stud at Dr. Bob Hewlet's Holly Hill Farm near Benton, La. The 5-year-old son of
Doneraile Court will stand for a syndicate for a fee of $2,000.
As a 2-year-old, Ruler's Court earned a 126-pound ranking on the 2003 Experimental by virtue of a 14-length triumph in the Norfolk Stakes (gr. II) at Santa Anita. He also placed in that year's Hollywood Juvenile Championship Stakes (gr. III).
Ruler's Court enters stud with record of three wins from eight races and earnings of $235,900. He is out of the Copelan mare Future Guest, who is a half-sister to grade II winner Whata Brainstorm.
Ruler's Court was scheduled to stand in 2006 at Vinery in Florida, but did not cover any mares there.
