The California October yearling sale has 327 horses in its catalogue. Barretts and the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association co-sponsor the auction, which is scheduled for Oct. 3 at Barretts, which is located on the grounds of Fairplex Park in Pomona. The sale begins at 11 a.m. (PDT).

Stallions with offspring in the auction include Awesome Again  , Benchmark, Bertrando, Forestry  , Harlan's Holiday  , and Van Nistelrooy.
