Global Gait Tops La Puente<br>

Bob and Beverly Lewis' Global Gait, winner of three of five career starts, is one of five Visa Triple Crown nominees set to run in Saturday's La Puente Stakes at Santa Anita. Trained by Bob Baffert, the Maryland-bred son of Concern was fourth in the Fountain of Youth in his 2001 debut.

Other Crown nominees in the 1 mile turf race are River God, Age of Empire, Learing at Kathy, and Media Mogul.

The field for the La Puente, from the rail out with riders and weights, consists of: Global Gait, Victor Espinoza, 120; Noble Kinsman, Matt Garcia, 114; River God, Alex Solis, 118; D. Park, Tyler Baze, 118; Age Of Empire, Brice Blanc, 114; Marine, Eddie Delahoussaye, 114; Learing At Kathy, Garrett Gomez, 116; Look Of Eagles, Laffit Pincay Jr., 114, and Media Mogul, Chris McCarron, 114.
