A. P Jet, who was hospitalized after suffering an injury April 30 at Howard Kaskel's Sugar Maple Farm near Poughquag, N.Y., is fully recovered from the ordeal and is expected to stand at stud in 2007, according to a farm representative.

Seventeen-year-old A. P Jet (Fappiano--Taminette, by In Reality) mixed it up with fellow stallion Gold Token, who died that same day. A. P Jet was taken to a New York clinic and pronounced in serious condition.

A. P Jet, who is owned by a syndicate, has sired 10 stakes winners. His fee this year was $5,000.
