Graded stakes winner Richly Blended was represented by his first winner when his daughter, Cosmo Nan, won July 26 at Santa Rosa as a homebred for her trainer, Steve Specht, in her initial start. The California-bred filly ran the five furlongs in :58.47. She is the first foal from the Ghazi mare Ghazi's Lass.
Richly Blended (Rizzi--Valid Blend, by Valid Appeal) stands at West 12 Ranch near Lodi, Calif. His 2006 fee was $4,000.
