Lomitas, a German Horse of the Year who stood the last five breeding seasons at Sheikh Mohammed's Dalham Hall Stud near Newmarket, England, has been returned to Gestut Fahrhof in Germany. The 18-year-old son of Niniski stood at that Germany nursery before he was sent to Dalham Hall under a lease arrangement. Gestut Fahrhof is the majority shareholder in Lomitas.

Lomitas, who is out of the Surumu mare La Colorada, has sired 35 stakes winners, including several European champions. They include Silvano, a German champion who in 2001 won the Arlington Million (gr. IT) and ran second in the Man o' War Stakes (gr. IT).
