Charles Kenis, who raced several California graded stakes winners, died July 21 at his Los Angeles home after a recent illness. He was 95.

A French wine importer, Kenis campaigned runners with late wife, Audrey Skirball-Kenis, who raced in the name 3 Plus U Stable. Stakes winners campaigned by Kenis alone or with his wife included graded winners Mazel Trick, See You Soon, and Sixieme Sens. French-bred See You Soon scored her major win in the 1998 Ramona Handicap (gr. IT).
