McKee Joins TOBA Staff

Katherine McKee has been named communications coordinator at the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association.

A graduate of Transylvania University, McKee recently completed her Master of business administration at the University of Kentucky. She joins the TOBA team after working at Keeneland in the Horsemen's Hospitality Department, where she assisted stakes horsemen. McKee's background also includes managing operations at Grotto Restaurant in Lexington, Ky., as well as Point Independence Inn & Spa, a resort in Cape Cod, Mass.

McKee will be responsible for coordinating the TOBA's seminars and clinics, assisting with membership development, and contributing to various programs, including the National Awards Dinner and Sales Integrity Program.

"We are very excited to have Katherine on the TOBA staff," said Dan Metzger, president of TOBA. "Her enthusiasm and insight will be valuable assets to the association."

"I am thrilled to be joining such a wonderful team in an effort to both promote and enhance the Thoroughbred ownership experience," McKee said.
