Southern California trainer Roger Stein is coming back to the radio airwaves in the Golden State. Following a year's absence, the conditioner's popular radio show "Trackside with Roger Stein" will debut Saturday, July 22, on KMXE-AM 830. The one-hour show can be heard each Saturday and Sunday morning at 8 a.m.

KMXE is owned by Arte Moreno, who also owns the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Major League Baseball club. The station is dubbed "Your Kind of Talk."

Stein has established himself as a tough-talking radio host who is unafraid to tackle controversial issues concerning California horse racing. His show features Stein's commentary on current horseracing affairs, interviews with jockeys, trainers, and owners, and handicapping information.

Stein conditioned Gotaghostofachance to victory in the Emirates Airline Sport Page Handicap (gr. III) on the Breeders' Cup undercard at Belmont Park last October.
