Jockey Kate Repp is believed to have broken two bones in her left ankle after she was thrown from her mount, Call Me Gracie, after the fourth race on Saturday at Emerald Downs.

Repp, who was resting after the fall, said she would see an orthopedic surgeon on Monday for a definitive diagnosis and an estimate on when she will ride again.

The 24-year-old native of Auburn, Wa., was pulling up the maiden 3-year-old filly on the clubhouse turn after finishing sixth in the claiming race when the fall occurred. Repp was taken to Auburn Regional Medical Center.
