Three-year-old Irish-bred colt Rhythm'n Roots (by Daggers Drawn), winner of this season's group III Ballysax Stakes, topped Thursday's penultimate session of the Tattersalls July Sale in Newmarket last night when selling for 210,000 guineas to agent Richard Frisby.

Dubai-based owner Malih Al Basti was underbidder to Frisby, who was acting for Sheikh Salman bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, a nephew of the King of Bahrain.

Kentucky-based agent Richard Galpin, acting for an unspecified Irish stud, spent 160,000 guineas on the unraced 3-year-old Irish filly Set The Pace (Sadler's Wells), who was consigned from Moyglare Stud

French winner Autumn Promise, an Irish-bred by Montjeu, is set to go jumping, most probably in Ireland, after selling for 125,000 guineas to agent John O'Byrne.

The sale concludes Friday with a session starting at 9.30 a.m.
