Edited Woodbine report
Woodbine Entertainment Group announced Friday that the Canadian Racetrack Workers Union has voted overwhelmingly to accept a Memorandum of Settlement to ratify their Collective Agreement, thereby ending the 16-day strike.

All pickets have been removed from Woodbine Racetrack property and teller service will resume with live racing this Saturday, July 8.

"We are pleased to have resolved this dispute through the bargaining process with good faith being demonstrated on both sides and we are going forward with a renewed commitment to customer service," said Woodbine chairman and C.E.O. David Willmot.
