HorseRacing TV has entered into a comprehensive agreement with the California Authority of Racing Fairs for the live telecast and promotion of California fair racing over the next four months.Under the agreement, HRTV will provide live daily coverage, including daily features and commentary by HRTV personalities, of all CARF race meets conducted through Oct. 15. In addition, HRTV will produce special live event coverage on three Saturdays: July 8 at Pleasanton, July 22 at Vallejo, and Aug. 5 at Santa Rosa."The California fair race meetings are among the real grassroots activities in our sport, and we are excited to bring that to our viewers," said Amy Zimmerman, executive producer of HRTV. "We're pleased to be working with HRTV on this package and delighted to be a part of their programming lineup."Coverage of the California fairs includes live coverage on all racing days and replays at 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. (PDT) the following morning. Sonoma County Fair, Santa Rosa (July 26-Aug. 7)
San Mateo County Fair, San Mateo (Aug. 9-24)
Humboldt County Fair, Ferndale (Aug. 10-20)
The Big Fresno Fair, Fresno (Oct. 4-15)
In addition to race coverage, the package includes a daily call-in feature each racing day during which track announcer Frank Mirahmadi will preview the upcoming card.
