Include was purchased by Joseph Balsamo for $42,000 to top Tuesday's Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sale of 2-year-olds and horses of racing age at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium.
The colt, consigned by Wolf Creek Farm, was produced from the winning Prospectors Gamble mare Silver Gambler, a half-sister to Lafayette Stakes winner Trick Card.
Fasig-Tipton reported the 68 horses sold grossed $707,700 for an average of $10,407 and a median price of $5,850. There were 28 horses listed as not sold. During the same sale one year ago, 57 head averaged $14,230 from gross receipts of $811,100 and a median of $10,000.
