Grade II winner Jump Start sired his first winner when his daughter, Asian Wind, won June 22 at five furlongs at Canterbury Park as a homebred for Almar Farm. The Minnesota-bred filly scored in :59.76. A half-sister to stakes winner Careless Navigator, Asian Wind is out of the stakes-winning Danski mare In Moderation.Jump Start (A.P. Indy--Steady Cat, by Storm Cat) stands for $10,000 at the Young family's Overbrook Farm near Lexington.
