Arlington Park's leading rider Chris Emigh, diagnosed with a "mild concussion" after a fall in Wednesday's third race, did not ride Friday as expected.

Emigh spent Wednesday night at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Ill., and was released Thursday morning.

According to his agent, Emigh was to return Friday, when he was listed aboard six mounts. He is listed on mounts in seven of the nine races on the Arlington's Saturday program, which includes six stakes worth $75,000 apiece for Illinois-breds.

Emigh, 35, has never captured a crown at Arlington Park, but is far in front of the current local standings with 56 wins.
