Arlington Park's leading jockey Chris Emigh suffered a concussion Wednesday when Seadrift, his mount in the third race, stumbled near the three-eighths pole and threw him to the track.

Emigh was taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Ill.

"He has a mild concussion," said Jay Fedor, Emigh's agent. There was no word on when the 35-year-old Emigh would return to riding.

Entering Wednesday's card at Arlington, Emigh led all jockeys with 56 victories, 23 more than his closest pursuer Francisco Torres.

Seadrift ran around the track, through the winner's circle and tunnel, and was caught in the paddock.
