Lawyer Ron Gallops for Holthus

(from Churchill Downs notes)Arkansas Derby (gr. II) winner Lawyer Ron returned to the track at Churchill Downs on Wednesday for the first time since he underwent surgery to remove a small bone chip from his right hind leg in mid-May.
Trainer Robert Holthus said the 3-year-old son of
Langfuhr , who finished 12th in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), galloped 1 ΒΌ miles under exercise rider Betsy Couch.
He had walked under tack for four days after returning to Holthus' care last week.
A date for Lawyer Ron's return to racing has not been determined.
