Hall of Fame Jockey Pat Day will speak June 23 at the Center for Women in Racing's fundraiser "A Night with Day." The event will be held at Bethlehem Farm in Paris, Ky.

A VIP reception hosted by Day for sponsors and government and civic leaders will be held from 6-7 p.m., and Day will speak during the dinner and program that begins at 7 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.

Crossgate Gallery of Lexington, Ky., will sponsor the art exhibit featuring four female sporting artists internationally acclaimed for their equine art. Sandra Oppegard, Katherine Landikusic, and Valerie Hinz will exhibit paintings and pastels and Alexia King will feature sculpture. A silent auction will also be open throughout the event featuring items from fake furs to facials to stallion and mare halters. Also to be auctioned is an original watercolor of Day painted by Oppegard.

The event will support the Center for Women in Racing and Bethlehem Farm, the location of a residential facility for women who work in the Thoroughbred breeding and racing industries in Kentucky. The Center for Women in Racing is located at Bethlehem Farm.
