Gaines-Gentry Thoroughbreds has purchased a minority interest in Eaton Sales. The 2006 Gaines-Gentry yearlings will be sold by Eaton Sales at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July, Fasig-Tipton Saratoga, and Keeneland September sales.
Eaton Sales is owned by Reiley McDonald and Tom VanMeter. Gaines-Gentry is a partnership of Olin Gentry and Thomas Gaines. Gaines-Gentry was previously a partner in Paramount Sales.
"I cannot say enough positive things about Pat Costello and his entire team at Paramount," Gentry said. "It has been a very gratifying to see Paramount grow into a consistent top 10 consignor in such a short time. From our perspective at Gaines-Gentry, it is a great opportunity to join forces with a perennial leading consignor such as Eaton Sales, and we looking forward to a long-lasting partnership."
Gentry added, "From Paramount's perspective, it will allow Pat Costello and his team to have a larger stake in the company which they are running on a daily basis."
