Louisiana Stallion Autocracy Dead

Louisiana stallion Autocracy was euthanized last week because of complications from laminitis. Owned by Murray Valene, the 19-year-old son of Alydar stood his entire career at Clear Creek Stud near Folsom, La.

Autocracy is represented by eight runners that have won or placed in stakes and the earners of $2.1 million. His best runner, Doctor Mike, won seven stakes and earned $503,799.

Autocracy was a half-brother to stakes winner Lt. Flag and produced from the Lt. Stevens mare, Stevens Stream.
