Highlights (all times are EDT):
--June 8, 1-1:30 p.m., ESPN2-- "Citgo Wire to Wire" will air from Belmont Park and will include late breaking news and coverage of the previous day's Belmont Stakes post position draw.
--June 9, 5-6 p.m., ESPN2-- "Today at Belmont Park" will include live coverage of the grade III, $100,000 Hill Prince Stakes for 3-year-olds on the turf. The show will be hosted by Kenny Mayne, who will be joined by racing analyst Randy Moss; reporters Jeannine Edwards and Quint Kessenich; and handicapper Hank Goldberg.
--June 10, 12-3 p.m., ESPN-- "Today at the Belmont Stakes" kicks off Belmont Stakes day coverage. The three-hour show will preview all the Belmont's key storylines and participants, both equine and human. Hosting will be Mayne, who will team with racing analysts Moss and Jay Privman; reporters Kessenich and Todd Harris; and handicapper Goldberg. Also contributing will be retired Hall of Fame jockey Jerry Bailey, Edwards, and Jeremy Schaap. The latter will report on Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner, Barbaro.
--June 10, 3-5 p.m., ESPN-- "The Belmont Stakes Special" will feature live coverage of three grade II Belmont undercard events: the True North Handicap, the Just a Game Handicap, and the $250,000 Woody Stephens Breeders' Cup Stakes. The host will be Rece Davis, with analyst Privman; reporters Kessenich and Harris; and handicapper Goldberg. Again, there will be contributions by Bailey, Edwards, and Schaap.
--June 10, 5-7 p.m., ABC-- Live coverage of the Belmont Stakes. Hosting will be Brent Musberger and Terry Gannon, with analysts Bailey and Moss; reporters Edwards and Kessenich; and handicapper Goldberg. Mayne, Schaap, and Tom Rinaldi will offer feature commentary and an essay.
--June 10, 7:30-8 p.m., ESPN-- "Triple Crown 2006" will present a recap of the Belmont, as well as the 2006 Triple Crown season. Bringing down the curtain will be Mayne, Moss, Bailey, Edwards, and Kessenich.
In addition, ABC's coverage of the Belmont Stakes will re-air on ESPN (June 11, 3:30-5:30 a.m.), ESPN2 (June 12, 2-4 a.m.), and ESPN Classic (June 12, 8-10 a.m.). The race portion of the telecast will be available on ESPN360 and iTunes June 11.
ESPN will air the Breeders' Cup World Championships Nov. 4.
