Irish champion and classic winner
Black Minnaloushe will stand at Andreas Jacobs' Maine Chance Farms in South Africa in 2007. The farm recently purchased the majority interest in the 8-year-old son of
Storm Cat from Irish-based Coolmore Stud. As part of the arrangement, Black Minnaloushe will shuttle once again to Windsor Park Stud in New Zealand following the completion of the current breeding season at Coolmore's North American satellite, Ashford Stud, near Versailles, Ky. His Ashford fee is $10,000.
Black Minnaloushe, who is out of the Green Dancer mare Coral Dance, is the sire of 2006 stakes winners Jokers Wild and Stream Cat. Jokers Wild has won two group I stakes this year in New Zealand. Stream Cat has captured three turf stakes, including this year's Crown Royal American Turf (gr. IIIT) and Pin Oak Stud USA Stakes.
