Buddha's first winner came when his daughter, Lenaro, won June 3 at Churchill Downs in her first start. Bred in Kentucky by James Sherman, she ran the five furlongs in :58.28 to win by 5 1/4 lengths for Iron Horse Racing. Lenaro is the first named foal from stakes winner Di's Time (by Gilded Time.
