Japan Sale to Offer 170 Yearlings, 310 Foals

The Japan Racing Horse Association will conduct a select sale of Japanese-bred yearlings and foals July 10-12 at the Northern Horse Park on the Japanese island of Hokkaido. There are 170 yearlings catalogued for the first day of the auction, and 310 foals are scheduled to be offered on the second and third days.

Sires of yearlings in the sale include Awesome Again  , Forty Niner, Giant's Causeway  , and War Emblem. Sires of the auction's foals include Fusaichi Pegasus  , Sky Mesa  , Smarty Jones  , Tiznow  , and Vindication.

Printed catalogues will be available on June 26. Entries also can be viewed online beginning then at www.jrha.or.jp/eng.
