Graded stakes winner Fappie's Notebook was represented by his first winner when his son, Stash McCann, won May 30 at Calder Race Course. Bred in Florida by Virginia L. and William Rice, Stash McCann ran the 4 1/2 furlongs in :55.38 while winning for Patrick A. Everard.
Fappie's Notebook (Notebook--Miss Fappiano, by Fappiano) stands for $2,500 at Jim and Sheila DiMare's Rising Hill Farm near Ocala, Fla.
