With only two days remaining until the Dubai World Cup most of the contestants on the seven-race card have completed their serious workouts with very few asked for any major effort on Thursday.

Trainer Julio Canani had Ladies Din out on the grass track at Nad al Sheba before the sun was up. The six-year-old is back in Dubai for another shot at the Dubai Duty Free (UAE-IIT) in which he ran 5th 2 1/2 lengths behind the winner, Rhythm Band, last year. Working out very wide on the grass Ladies Din was clocked to run the final 600 meters of his work in :37.73 seconds.

Another Dubai Duty Free runner, Japan's Eagle Café, was also an early bird cruising through 800 meters in 49.15 seconds before schooling in the paddock after the workout.

Australia's Dubai Golden Shaheen (UAE-III) candidate Bomber Bill was another out early, rolling down the final 400 meters of the dirt track in 24.75 seconds. The Russell Cameron-trained gelding scored group one success two runs back, winning the Australia Stakes at Moonee Valley in Melbourne on Jan. 25.

Trainer Joanna Morgan was aboard One Won One, who moved leisurely from the 1600 meters chute to the home straight before dashing down the final 200 meters. One Won One, who captured the HH The Presidents Cup at Abu Dhabi on Jan. 31 in his Emirates debut, will line up in the Godolphin Mile (UAE-II), the second race on Saturday night's card.

Hong Kong's challengers, Dubai Duty Free runner, Fairy King Pawn with Daliapour and Indigenous, both set for the Dubai Sheema Classic (UAE-IIT) spent a lengthy period being schooled in the Nad Al Sheba paddock.
