A total of 21 candidates are on the ballot, including 10 who are up for re-election. The results of the election will be announced at the July Board of Directors meeting.

Each elected Trustee will serve a three-year term beginning Aug.1 of this year.

The Breeders Cup Board of Trustees and Members consists of 46 individuals. In November 2005, the Board approved amendments to the Articles of Incorporation and changes in the Breeders' Cup By-laws that authorized a new Board of Directors and the reconstitution of the 46-member Board as the Board of the Trustees and Members. Under the new structure, Trustees are elected by the current shareholder voting system based on Breeders' Cup foal and stallion nominations.
