Secret 'n Classy, a half-brother to Canadian Horse of the Year Dance Smartly, has been euthanized at age 19 after breaking a leg at Vitezslav Vanda Stud in the Czech Republic. Classic-placed in his native Canada, he was sent to Germany in 1992 for stallion duty.

Bred and raced by Ernie Samuel's Sam-Son Farm, Secret 'n Classy placed in the 1990 Breeders' Stakes and three other Canadian stakes during a career in which he won four of 16 races and earned $183,104.

Secret 'n Classy (Secretariat--Classy 'n Smart, by Smarten). sired German group winner Dictum and Russian St. Leger winner Threalith. In addition to Dance Smartly, Secret 'n Classy also was a half-brother to grade I winners Smart Strike and Full of Wonder (in Canada).
