Lawyer Ron Back at Churchill After Surgery

Lawyer Ron is recovering at home from recent surgery to remove bone chips.
Grade II winner Lawyer Ron, who ran unplaced in the Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), has been returned to trainer Bob Holthus at Churchill Downs following surgery to remove bone chips.
Dr. Larry Bramlege removed small chips from the colt's right front and right hind fetlocks by way of arthroscopic surgery.
Lawyer Ron raced in the Derby for the Estate of James T. Hines Jr. Prior to the race, the estate sold an interest in Lawyer Ron to Our Legal Team, headed by Audrey and Richard Haisfield. Under terms of the agreement, Lawyer Ron will enter stud at Audrey Haisfield's Stonewall Stallions near Versailles, Ky.
