Exciting Story, who was a Canadian champion and a U.S. grade I winner, was represented by his first winner when his daughter, Holly Torque Tango, won May 11 at Hollywood Park. Bred in Illinois by Steve Sawatske, the filly won the 4 1/2 race by 5 1/2 lengths in :51.47 for a partnership that included Wind River Stables. Holly Torque Tango is out of the Golden Gear mare Dawn Tango.

Exciting Story (Diablo--Appealing Story, by Valid Appeal) stood at William S. Farish's Lane's End Texas near Hempstead prior to his death the summer of 2004.
