Injured A. P Jet to Return to Sugar Maple

A. P Jet, who was hospitalized after suffering an injury April 30 at Howard Kaskel's Sugar Maple Farm near Poughquag, N.Y., is expected to return home Friday.
A farm statement released Wednesday read: "We are happy to report that as of today, we expect A. P Jet to make a full recovery, and he will be returning to the farm this Friday to complete his recovery at home."
A. P. Jet, a 17-year-old of Fappiano, got loose from his handler April 30 and galloped over to fellow stallion Gold Token's paddock. Gold Token came through the fence to get at him, and the two started fighting and took off galloping beside the paddocks. Gold Token hit a tree and dropped dead. A. P Jet was taken to a New York clinic and pronounced in serious condition.
A. P Jet, who is out of the In Reality mare Taminette. is owned by a syndicate. His fee this year was $5,000.
