Lucky Lionel Colt, Capote Filly Share Honors for Fastest at OBS

A colt by
Lucky Lionel and a filly by Capotenamed Ticket to Seattle set the pace Thursday in Central Florida during the second session of the under tack show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Co. spring sale of 2-year-olds in training. Each worked a quarter mile in :21 1/5 to share honors for the fastest work at the distance. Both are consigned by Nick de Meric, agent.
The bay Lucky Lionel colt is out of Auntie Bellum. Ticket to Seattle is out of Bethany, a half sister to graded stakes winners Will's Way and Willa on the Move.
A Salt Lake colt posted the session's fastest time for an eighth of a mile mile breeze, stopping the clock in :10 1/5. The chestnut 2-year-old is out of Country Marquet. His consignor is Ricky Leppala. The colt is owned by Leppala and W.D. North.
The session's fastest three-furlong breeze was turned in by a colt by Suave Prospect that worked the distance in :34 3/5. Consigned by Lexmar, agent, the bay juvenile is out of Welsh Treat.
The under tack show continues Friday morning, starting at 9:00 a.m (EDT). Hip Nos. 625-936, selling Thursday, April 27, are scheduled to breeze.
