CITGO Racing to the Kentucky Derby To Air Coolmore Lexington Stakes The show will air 6:00-7:00 p.m. est on ESPN2. Kenny Mayne will host, joined by analyst Randy Moss and reporter Jeannine Edwards. The Kiaran McLaughlin-trained Like Now, winner of the Gotham Stakes (gr. III), heads the field in the Lexington. The undefeated Showing Up and the Nick Zito-trained Hemingway's Key, sixth in the Lane's End Stakes (gr. II), are also likely to run in the Lexington, which shapes up as the last chance to pick up graded stakes earnings necessary for securing a Derby starting berth. Rounding out the field are Bear Character, Chin High, Fast Parade, Greeley's Legacy, More Than Regal, and To Sender. Our Peak, coming off an upset win at 74-1 in the Private Terms Stakes, will try to make it two in a row in the Tesio. Also expected are Scanlon's Song, who was fourth in the Wood Memorial (gr. I); Vegas Play, second in the Miracle Wood Stakes; Kellers Church Road and Sharps Island. |
