TVG's 'The Works' Expands to Full Hour

TVG's "The Works: Derby 2006" expands to one hour this year for for the seventh straight year of its preview coverage of the Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) and Kentucky Oaks (gr. I).
The series of six live shows will air on TVG at 11 a.m. ET, beginning April 29 and continuing through May 4. In addition, the show will air on Fox Sports New York (check local listings for times). Claiborne Farm, Taylor Made Farm, and Juddmonte Farm present the show.
"The Works: Derby 2006" will offer same day coverage of morning workouts of those horses expected to start in the 132nd Derby on May 6 and 132nd Kentucky Oaks the day before. In addition to the workouts, the program will present interviews with owners, trainers, jockeys, and other horseracing figures -- as well as timely news and features about this year's races.
Todd Schrupp hosts the show from Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky., with analysts Gary Stevens, Frank Lyons and Tom Amoss, and reporters Jill Byrne and Priscilla Hojiwala,
