Jockey Williams Logs 4,000th Victory

Jockey Robert Dean Williams won his 4,000th race Friday when he drove Sweet Evil Hariet to victory in the ninth race at Fonner Park in Nebraska.
Williams brought the 5-year-old daughter of Kandaly from behind in the 6 1/2-furlong event for claiming fillies and mares to draw away in the stretch.
The jockey won the first race of the day aboard Just Rulo in order to move within one victory of the milestone achievement.
