Daney Named Chairman of United ARCI

(edited Delaware Racing Commission release)Delaware Racing Commission Chairman Bernard J. Daney has been name chairman of the Association of Racing Commissioners International.
Daney, an owner, breeder and regulator since 1993, said he was pleased that ARCI and North American Pari-Mutuel Regulators Association has unified this year under the ARCI banner after a split during the 1990s. His appointment was announced at the group's meeting last week.
"It is wonderful to see all of the regulatory community together at this conference. Having everyone together under one umbrella makes us a stronger voice in the racing industry."
Daney also as an ex-officio member of the Delaware Jockeys Health and Welfare Benefit Board,
