Platinum Princess, who closed out her career with a stakes win, has been retired from racing to become a broodmare at John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Lexington. She is booked to Roman Ruler, who stands at Hill 'n' Dale.

Five-year-old Platinum Princess captured the April 1 Carousel Stakes at Oaklawn Park. Sikura had acquired her last fall.

Bred in Kentucky by James M. Herbener Jr., Platinum Princess (Wolf Power--Cornish Image, by Cornish Prince) retired with five wins from 20 starts and earnings of $203,926. She was stakes-placed five times, once in a graded event. Platinum Princess initially raced for James Vreeland.
