Preston-Osborne has been selected as a finalist for the Public Relations Society of America's Silver Anvil Award.
The work being recognized is for public relations efforts on behalf of the Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP) and its successful legislative push to establish a $15 million Breeder Incentive Awards program during the 2005 legislative session.
"We're honored to be recognized for our work with KEEP," said Phil Osborne, CEO of Preston-Osborne. "Although this is a public relations award, this project was successful because of the entire team of people working on the project including the KEEP board and staff, our legislative agents, Capital Link Consultants, and our advertising partner, Red7e."
A Silver Anvil is to public relations what the Pulitzer is to journalism. This is Preston-Osborne's fourth time as a finalist. The company has already won twice, the first for Congressman Rogers' PRIDE program in 2000 and the second in 2001 for work with the Vice-Presidential Debate hosted by Centre College.
"For a firm our size, it is rare to win an award of this caliber. To win the top award two years in a row and now be a finalist again is amazing," said Osborne.
