Elusive Diva, who raced for Allen and Susan Branch in partnership with John and Doris Konecny, has been retired from racing and is booked to
Unbridled's Song .
Bred by the Konecnys, Elusive Diva won last year's Las Cienegas (gr. IIIT) and Senator Ken Maddy (gr. IIIT) Handicaps as well as the Wishing Well Handicap on grass. In 2004, she took the Railbird Stakes (gr. III). Six of her seven stakes-placings came in graded events, including the La Brea Stakes (gr. I).
A 5-year-old daughter of
Elusive Quality , Elusive Diva retired with six wins from 17 starts and earnings of $484,510 for trainer Mark Glatt. She ran second in the mile Buena Vista Handicap (gr. IIT) Feb. 20 in what was her final start.
Elusive Diva is a half-sister to stakes winners R. Baggio and Handyman Bill and is out of stakes winner Taj Aire.
