Majesterian, a son of Pleasant Colony owned by Drs. Lutz and Susanne Harfst, died March 22 of an apparent heart attack. The Harfsts own Marble Hill Stables near Yakima, Wash.

The 18-year-old horse sired six stakes winners. His leading earner is Love All the Way, who won the Independence Day Handicap at Emerald Downs in 1999. Love All the Way won 14 races and earned $408,734.

Bred in Canada by Windfields Farm, Majesterian, out of the Northern Dancer mare Linda North, was sold as a yearling for $90,000. He won the 1991 Col. R.S. McLaughlin Handicap and three other races and earned $262,294.

Majesterian began his stallion career at Royal Match Stud in Washington, before relocating to California.
