Robert J. Amendola has retired his grade II winner Bank Audit and booked her to Distorted Humor  . A 5-year-old daughter of Wild Rush, Bank Audit emerged from the claiming ranks to become one of New York's top older sprint mares last year for Amendola and trainer Frank LaBoccetta Jr.

Bank Audit scored her big wins in the Genuine Risk (gr. II) and Distaff Breeders' Cup (gr. II) Handicaps, and her stakes-placings included efforts in the Honorable Miss (gr. II) and Vagrancy (gr. II) Handicaps.

Bred in Virginia by Morgan's Ford Farm, Bank Audit retired with 10 wins and a dozen placings from 30 starts and earnings of $567,934. She ran third in the Feb. 23 Flip's Pleasure Stakes at Aqueduct in what was her last race.

Bank Audit, who is out of stakes winner Mosquera (by Faraway Son), is boarded at the Hinkle family's Hinkle Farm near Paris, Ky. Plans call for her to be sold at a Kentucky mixed sale in the fall.
