Pair Tops OBSC's Final Under Tack Session

A colt by Texas Glitter and a filly by Golden Missile worked quarter miles in :21 1/5 Saturday to share honors for the fastest work at the distance at the second session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2006 March Sale of Selected 2-Year-Olds in Training.

Texas Voyager is a colt by Texas Glitter consigned by agent Murray Smith. The bay colt is out of stakes winner Starfire Voyage, by Fire Dancer, and is a half brother to stakes winner Nancy's Glitter. He had worked an eighth in :10 2/5 at last weekend's Preview.

A filly by Golden Missile   out of Beguiled, by Relaunch, matched the best quarter-mile time of the day. Consigned by Eisaman Equine, the chestnut filly is out of a daughter of graded stakes winner Distinctive Sis. She had sped an eighth in :10 1/5 at the Preview.

Into Reality, a filly by Untuttable, worked a quarter in :21 2/5. Consigned by agent Southern Cypress Stable LLC, the bay filly is out of Sweet Mia, by High Brite. She had worked an eighth in :10 2/5 at the Preview.

Two horses worked eighths in :10 2/5. B L's Tigress, is a filly by B L's Appeal consigned by agent New Episode Training Center, Inc. The chestnut filly, who worked an eighth in :10 4/5 last Saturday, is out of Tigress Express, by Polish Numbers, and is a half sister to stakes placed Cambria's Dream. A bay colt by Include   consigned by agent Southern Cypress Stable LLC, worked in :10 4/5 at the Preview. He's out of Abruzzi Ridge, by Mountain Cat, a half sister to graded stakes winner March Magic.

Overall, the sale's fastest quarter was turned in during last Saturday's Preview session by a colt by Belong to Me   who sped a quarter in :21 flat. Consigned by agent Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), the bay colt is out of Vassar, by Royal Academy, a daughter of stakes winner Dixie Fine.

The sale's fastest eighths were also posted at the Preview, with five youngsters stopping the timer in :10 flat. The sale's fastest three-eighths mile breeze was recorded last Friday at the Preview by Friend of Mae, a colt by Exploit consigned by agent Rolling Meadows Farm, who worked the distance in :34 3/5. Out of stakes winner Fine Dining, by State Dinner, the dark bay or brown colt is a half brother to graded stakes winner Tower Full.
