TVG Announces Agreement with Hawthorne

TVG announced March 17 that it has reached an agreement with Hawthorne National for the exclusive television and interactive wagering rights for the National Jockey Club, Suburban Downs, and Hawthorne Racecourse live race meetings conducted in suburban Chicago.
Hawthorne is in the midst of a 67-day spring Thoroughbred race meet that will feature the $500,000 Illinois Derby (gr. II) on April 8.
Hawthorne also hosts a fall Thoroughbred meet from Sept. 15 to Dec. 31, highlighted by the $500,000 Hawthorne Gold Cup (gr. II), as well as a summer harness meet from May 6 to June 17.
All Hawthorne meets will receive priority placement on TVG's television network.
