Champion Serena's Song, who raced for Robert and Beverly Lewis, produced her ninth foal March 5. Bob Lewis died Feb. 17.
The foal, a chestnut colt by
Storm Cat, was born the day after his half-brother, Harlington, by Unbridled, won the grade II Gulfstream Park Handicap. Serena's Song has had six foals to race, and Harlington is her fourth stakes winner.
The colt was bred by the Lewises and was born at Craig and Holly Bandoroff's Denali Stud near Paris, Ky. He is a full brother to grade I winner Sophisticat.
A Denali Stud spokesman said that both dam and foal are doing well. Serena's Song is booked back to
Storm Cat.
