Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, owners of Hastings Racetrack in Vancouver, British Columbia, announced the resignation of Anthony R. Martin as president and chief operating officer Feb. 20.

Ross J. McLeod, chairman and CEO of the company, will assume Martin's responsibilities. Martin will remain available to the company to assist on a consultant basis, according to a press release.

In the past three years, Great Canadian has expanded its holdings as a gaming provider. In addition to Hastings, it owns standardbred facilities Fraser Downs Racetrack and Casino in Surrey, B.C. and Flamboro Downs in Hamilton, Ontario.

"The company will now focus its efforts on finalizing the integration of our acquired properties and producing an increasing return on investment, both here in British Columbia and across Canada," McLeod said.
