More Than 500 2-Year-Olds in OBS March Auction

The Ocala Breeders' Sales Co. has catalogued 535 horses for its March select sale of 2-year-olds in training in Central Florida. The auction will be held March 21 and 22, with both sessions beginning at 11 a.m. (EST). Under tack shows are scheduled for March 10, March 11, March 17, and March 18, starting at 9 a.m. each day.

The Adena Springs juvenile auction will have 114 horses. It is scheduled for March 20, beginning at 6 p.m. All of the horses will be stabled in training barns 1 through 4 at the new Adena Springs Farm on Highway 316 near Ocala. Pre-sale inspection will be conducted from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the designated training barns. Videos of the sale horses under tack will be made on March 3 and March 9, beginning at 9 a.m. each day. An under tack "gallop" show will be held on the day of the sale, beginning at 9 a.m.

The six-race Day of Champions program will be held at OBS on March 20, with purses totaling $380,000. First post is 1:30 p.m.
