Edited press release

Jim Cullen, president of Cullen Bloodstock in Lexington, has been hired as director of marketing for Adena Springs Farm.

As a consultant to the multiple Eclipse Award-winning breeding operation, Cullen will develop and implement marketing strategies, including promotions and daily advertising opportunities. In addition, he will serve as an adjunct to assist with bloodstock services in the marketing of Adena Springs stallions in Kentucky and Florida.

Adena Springs general manager Dr. George Mundy said Cullen, who has a marketing degree and journalism experience, has a "strong sense of the commercial marketplace and a broad knowledge of major media, and he also has a number of creative and innovative ideas that will support the long-standing success" of programs and promotions at Adena Springs.

Cullen will continue to operate his bloodstock business, which includes Four Board Stables, a Kentucky-based racing partnership concern.
