English Champion High Estate to Dormello in Texas

High Estate, an English champion and sire of an Epsom Derby (Eng-I) winner, has been relocated from England to Brian Wallis' Dormello II Stud near Decatur, Texas.

A 20-year-old Irish-bred son of Shirley Heights, High Estate won all five of his races the year he was England's champion 2-year-old male. His son, High-Rise, also was an English champion. His big win came in the 1998 Vodafone Epsom Derby.

High Estate who sired a total of 11 stakes winners, also is represented by two other European champions, including Close Conflict (in Italy).

High Estate, who is out of the Princely Native mare Regal Beauty, will stand for $3,000.
